This was the height of Battlefield. My only gripe at the time was why they didn't have carrier ships you can drive as you could in BF1942 but nonetheless it was the BEST Battlefield ever. Just remake this game with BF BC2 destruction and BF3 tanks. Too much to ask for and have sadly abandoned this series since they lost their vision a long time ago with EA at the helm.

You know this isn’t really said that much but I really miss bots in MP games call me crazy but I like playing with my friends in a private match mode where we can have bots on our team and vs bots on the opposite.

I still have the original box and disc... use to love playing this in 2005 online with 64 players... use to run it on my pentium4 3.2ghz, 1GB DDR, Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB

BF2 special forces expansion was AMAZING.

BF2 wasn't perfect, but with the exception of overpowered jets and attack helicopters, it got the Battlefield formula so right. The franchise hasn't reached this level since.

This game means so much to me. I remember this being the first game I ever played. I sat on my dads lap and either I’d be keyboard or mouse and he’d be the opposite. I was so tiny that my hands couldn’t even reach from mouse to keyboard. I eventually got so good I was beating my dad. I’m not sure if this was real or if he just wanted to make me feel good. I love battlefield ❤️

WHY DID THEY REMOVE THE COMMANDER AND WAYPOINT SYSTEM

I usually don’t flame on games and series, but it’s been such a painful 19 years hoping they’d revive cross team and squad communication (which should be a simple feature to implement) and yet they continue to deprive us

The PKM was the most underrated gun in the game - if you single or double tapped with the PKM it was disturbingly accurate. I got accused of hacking so many times because of PKM distance kills.

Then you could get in close and spam an area with it. It was an awesome all round weapon.
