Only Adults Notice These Crazy Things In Aladdin

Disney filmmakers know that there will be a lot of parents in the audience watching the movies with their kids, so they make sure to slip in some jokes every now and then that will go over the kids’ heads.

However, Aladdin went above and beyond in this regard, with Robin Williams’ genie making a constant stream of jokes and pop culture references.

The genie’s pop culture knowledge is just one crazy thing in the beloved animated film that only adults will notice, and some of the others have pretty dark implications. Let’s take a look at some crazy things that only adults notice in Aladdin.

Ok so after looking at this video I'm fully convinced that this generation of jabronbi's have no idea what's the difference between reality and CARTOON movies

Grasping at straws for plot holes involving a cartoon where a monkey is also an elephant.

All that and they didn’t address the subtle gay joke???

“Al I’m getting quite fond of ya kid. Not that I wanna go pick out curtains or anything....”

This is a kid’s movie. Don’t look for logic!

If you think that was an over-reaction for a stolen loaf of bread, you should check out Les Miserables.

This video couldn't understand cartoon logic and also gave Abu a very hard time too! Abu was reluctant at first to give away the bread to the kids but he saw Aladdin's kindness and showed that he too can have kindness too by giving away his bread and he has to steal things despite Jasmine's hand almost being cut off so that he and Aladdin can eat later with those apples which they, of course, did with Jasmine. Aladdin relies on Abu to steal things so that they can get money and eat to survive. Lastly, Abu is blocking Aladdin's eyes during the lava chase out of The Cave of Wonders because he's frightened! How would you react if you were in that position?! I'm just saying!

Ok so yall are questioning the fact they traveled the world in a single song but you don't question Simba growing up in a single music break

The bit about 'One jump ahead' is a bit of a stretch. Is looper running out of video topics?

Say these words with me: "It's a cartoon!!" This movie is awesome. I liked it.

Imagine expecting _that much realism_ out of an animated movie with a Genie that knows pop culture references from ~400 years in the future and a parrot that speaks fluid English. Were you guys really so desperate for material that you had to reach _that_ hard?

Everyone seems to miss the big gaping plot hole. Seeb a few videos like this and it has never been referenced, even when the video is about plot holes.
When Jasmine goes to Jafar and demands Aladdin's release, she is told he was beheaded. This is acknowledged a little later when Jasmine feels that Ali seems familiar. After Aladdin denies he has been to the marketplace, you see Jasmine remember that Aladdin is dead (she says "no, i guess not" in a forlorn voice). But after A Whole New World sequence, she realizes that it is Aladdin and nothing is said about him supposed to be dead. No questions about how he escaped, nothing for why Jafar thought he was dead. This would immediately cast suspicion on Jafar and what he was up to.
As a kid, u completely overlooked this, but when watching this now, it is very glaring. I tried to see if anyone else noticed, but it appears that no one has.
Guess this proves what a masterpiece this movie us. A plothole you can drive an earthmover through and no one notices, expert writing for a complelling story.

This looper episode sounds more like the musings of unimaginative, nerdy snowflake than an adult.

While I'm glad some one finally mentioned how annoying and childish the Sultan was, I didn't like him throughout most of the movie:
between forcing Jasmine to marry, not caring about her feelings, yanking that bird from her hands, and refusing to let the suiter issue go for a bit, mostly I couldn't stand him!

The other characters including the genie and songs, made it work for me
