10 Things I Learned After Gastric Bypass

Sooooo I had Gastric Bypass surgery and I learned MANY things after surgery but these are just 10 things I learned after Gastric Bypass.

This is a good video. I had gastric bypass 22 years ago. Yes the body dysmorphia is so real. You do have to be ready for that and the mental side of it. When I had my surgery my weight was 286 pounds I currently weigh 144 pounds. Yes I lost some hair, but there is a chance you will not lose hair. The surgery now is way less invasive then it was 22 years ago. Eating is different, there are foods I cannot eat because the pain of dumping is just not worth it. There are times when my eyes are bigger than my stomach lol. To stay at my weight I do intermittent fasting and follow the old school 1978 Atkins which is basically a Keto diet. Yes the sex is better at 144 then 286 lol

Thanks for the information, I had the surgery in 2002 I think it has been over 20 years, and I have gained some of the weight back. I wish there were things that I knew before would have helped me so much after the fact. You look really good and you are beautiful. I can tell it is inward as well as outward. i had the lap band and i really believe that I wasn't mentally ready for all the positive and negative attention, and i self-sabotaged my journey to a point 8 years ago will be getting a revision to bypass in december
