I've had mine since 2017, changed the impeller twice but it just keeps going... Only downside I've found in a heavily planted tank is that they need cleaning every 3-4 days as the amount of debris they suck in clogs the foam as it's got a relatively small contact area.

I've cut the sponges into 3, use the two blue ones and some floss in the bottom section and I bought an extra section, so a total of 3 sections packed with Substrat Pro.

Looks like one of the best you've tested from my perspective, would prefer all black so it blends into the background better but i would definitely buy this one although i have no issues with all my superfish aqua flow filters, i have the 50, 200, 300 and 400 all with more and better non carbon sponge upgrades no bio gravel or media im old school, sponge has always worked and never needed to use anything else and these filters are very reliable and are consistent with cycling but should i ever have trouble getting an aqua flow for a new tank i would definitely go for this one.
By the way your channels excellent ive brought the superfish filter you tested and the aquael heater so i appreciate your time and efforts doing these videos as when purchasing filters and heaters alone its a complete mine field with all the products on market so you save people a lot of money and time so thank you aqua guy.

I like it, they've thought about this. It's a wee bit too big and a wee bit too powerful for many applications but the intake flow system is excellent. If they made it three quarters of the size and two thirds of the flow rate I reckon this internal filter would be one that would be hard to beat.
