You are a better English speaker than many who have no other languages. English is a difficult language to master. I am always impressed by your ability to not only speak it clearly, but learn how to pronounce new words. Anybody who wants to troll you can just p-off. EDIT: Sincerely, cranky senior.

I'm a linguist, I have a degree in linguistics which is the scientific study of language. I'm frequently astounded at your mastery of English, it's very impressive how well you speak it! As a linguist I know exactly how difficult that level of second language mastery can be to achieve. Don't listen to the haters!

As for the "th" sounds like in "thin" and "then", those are some of the most difficult sounds to learn for non native English speakers. They are both exceptionally rare cross linguistically, you won't find them almost anywhere else. Yet they are EVERYWHERE in English, even in the definite article "the"! The only time I've seen you stumble on a pronunciation at all is when a "th" sound is involved which is entirely understandable and does not demonstrate a lack of English mastery.

Tl;dr you do not need a speech therapist. Your English is exceptional!

Not only is your English amazing and the breadth of your vocabulary, your use of English idioms and colloquial language is on point too which most people who speak English as a second language don’t use. I am constantly impressed at how people from Scandinavian countries speak English so well.

For the people complaining about your English, I'd love to know how many languages they speak. I grew up in a multi-lingual family. Your English is fine. If they can understand you, it's good enough. They're just being pedantic and, quite frankly, rude.

I am not done watching your video but heard your comment about people saying you need speech therapy and in the middle of a public space blurted "EW!" I had to pause and comment. Anyone who says that is gross and probably would speak your native language with a much worse accent, if they ever bothered to learn. You speak English better than a lot of native speakers, especially here in the south. You're amazing, and I hope you don't let online haters get to you.

ETA reviews aren't popular anymore?! If not reviews or tutorials, what are people watching in makeup? Hauls? All they make me want to do is shop and I had to stop watching them for the sake of my sanity and bank account.

My late grandmother was Danish, and she retained her accent even after living in the us for decades. I always find Scandinavian accents to be pleasant and comforting to listen to, which is one of the many reasons I like your videos. Accents are beautiful, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise
