my grandmother had an angel music box of fur elise, i used to clean her shelves just to have an excuse to play with it. it was beautiful and well-kept. I was the only grandchild that came to her house for longer periods of time let alone just the two of us. My cousins were only with their mother’s parents. My mother and grandmother both passed four years ago in october (going on five, this year) and my uncle and son of a bitch “aunt” changed the will and took everything that wasn’t directly mine. including the music box. When asked if they still have it they either lied or my grandfather(? he was my grandma’s boyfriend, my grandfather died yeaaars ago) did take it. That music box is what i want most in the world. Thank you for posting this, i almost forgot what it sounded like

I Love this song because I was being played in a piano in Venice when I was there in 2004 with my girlfriend at the time and I asked her to marry me in St Mark's Square I carried her through the water and put hey down in the middle at which time the Music all stopped and everyone went quiete as I took to the Knee and asked this Beautiful Chinese girl the Marry me she said yes and everyone cheered as the Music played on....

When I was a kid my mom got a music box as a gift from my grandmother. She was the sweetest woman in the world but died from brain cancer, this ruined me. In my early life my sibling was sick and in and out of the hospital which ment there was no time for me, I was basically raised by my grandmother. Ever since then I have been up and down with my mom. I can’t stand her but I can’t go without her, and it torturers me to think that something might happen to her. Mainly because she reminds me of my grandmother, same goes for any older women that overcome something bad, it always reminds me of my grandmother. I have been dull for over a year and can’t feel strongly about anything I only feel empty sadness for my being. The day my grandmother died the light got ripped out of my life and my heart.
