Basically in other countries, if some random law gets passed and public don't like it, then basically the GOVT is at risk there. However in US, you can't move the govt no matter what.

Watching these really let me know that foreigners can be just as ignorant about America as we are of them.

Meanwhile, in Italy:

Abortion is legal in Italy in the first 90 days (just 13 weeks!) of pregnancy, with a seven-day waiting period.

After the first trimester, abortions are only allowed if there's a risk to the mother's health or if there are fetal anomalies. But while it's legal, actually getting the procedure can be difficult.

"Abortion access is always difficult because there are too few doctors who perform them."- Dr. Giovanna Gerardi. She's one of only two abortion providers in Italy's Molise region. Once her colleague retires later this year, she'll be the only one.

If random people can decide whether a woman gets to abort or not then maybe those same individuals need to take care of that child and mother.

In the US we didn’t ban people from getting abortions. The federal government decided this is a very 50/50 opinion between the citizens, and America is a very large and diverse nation, so they sent it back to each state to individually vote on what abortion laws should look like in their state. This is exactly how a democracy should operate. This is why in some states you can’t terminate pregnancy once a heartbeat is detectable, and other places like NJ where I lived our governor signed a bill that not only legalized abortion here but legalizes infanticide also. Meaning you can give birth to a baby and leave it in a McDonalds dumpster and cannot be prosecuted under The Reproductive Freedom Act. Less restrictions on abortions does not keep women safe, the media is not genuine.

Just because there are “a lot of people protesting” doesn’t mean it’s right. Half of the country thinks the opposite…

So many things 😲 abortion choices - the pill, rubber, abstenance. Too many choices - ignorance.

Personally I agree with her, but with what's going on in Italy right now they're not really in a place where they can pass judgment.

This is why you don't listen to what foreigners say about American politics.

The craziness that wokeness has become now is literally ignorant + want to follow the crowd.
I've considered myself proudly woke, but now idk what to call it anymore.
