Many tourists spend less time in Malaysia because it is very underrated and less exposed that make it being overshadowed by other Asian countries such as Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia. But actually, theres a lot of attractions in Malaysia. But the attractions are not exposed widely because of the locals that dont want it to be 'polluted' by the tourists. If you want to discover more of Malaysias hidden gems, Im suggesting that you have to befriend the locals here especially the Malays because they have more networking to the hidden gems. So, it will be your "passport" to access to more attractions that most of them only can be access by the locals. Plus, it is more easy because most of Malaysians speak English and actually it will make you spend less because the locals are very generous that they will accommodate you with shelter+food.

When I backpacked in Malaysia, I’ve gone to the Heli Lounge Bar last June. It’s an awesome view especially at sunset! Pretty fancy prices but you pay the great location!
