I love scar’s character because Taka is lovable but when he turns evil, he’s so intimidating and you love to hate him. His character dynamic is very interesting

Taka is an amazing character including scar. I love them both, its so sad how Taka betrayed Mufasa though. Its also sad hiw Taka was "destined" to be king, and in the end Mufasa earned that title.

Scar gave hyenas justice!! I like him for that, because hyenas also deserved to much better life, why Mufasa drove out the hyenas? Why they must have live in starving?

I really agree with your opinion. I also love httyd edits. They’re amazing. scar didn’t deserve what happened to him. He was blinded by rage. His father whispered in his ear he saved Mufasa multiple times after finding out Mufasa was now dating the lion who had a crush on it destroyed him he was blinded by rage and joined forces with someone who killed his father and family. Then he ended up betraying them and saving Mufasa again
but then getting banished and then overtime before the Lion King he becomes bitter and the thoughts and the dark thought consumed him and then the Lion King happened
(for people who haven’t watched the lion guard it takes place after a few other movies. It’s a series about Kion Simba’s son. Kion ends up facing scar as a ghost. Also I really hope they make the lion guard but with the realistic lions like they did with the other movies because it would be awesome.)

He is an icon yes. But he is a murderer, Regardless of what happened or that he is sad, Hurt, missunderstood or broken…. A killer is what he is.

My only complaint about Scar’s backstory is that Musfasa didn’t try to betray him but he took it that way

If you rlly think abt it, scar killing Mufasa isn’t evil. Scar was raised and believed if he wasn’t king he was useless as is any prince, so getting his role taken meant he was just another lion, so it’s revenge for taking everything Scar worked so hard for.
