Metroid Prime Federation Force Nintendo E3 Event Reactions - IGN Live: E3 2015

It's been quite some time since they last Metroid game was release. Is Metroid Prime Federation Force the game we need?

This has got to be a joke... We metroid fans waited 5 years and we get this? I mean,  probably they will be fun to play, but we desperatley need a new metroid game, no spin offs, just the experience of isolation, exploration and inmersiveness we got from previous games. So disappointed in Nintendo right now. Couldn't agree more with you guys. This is NOT what we metroid fans wanted.

Most likely the next game in the series will be on the Nintendo Next. Probably why it was not shown in any form. The Wii U offerings were pretty slim this year. Where is Devil's Third? What happened to last years promise that this would be the year with multiple games that justify the Wii U Gamepad? All I'm seeing is Star Fox which looks ok visually. Most likely because of the game pad second screen view which made them have to scale back the visuals to run at a smooth fps.

I honestly feel bad for the people that have to report about this; any video related to this game gets tons of dislikes, even though IGN said that this wasn't the smartest way to bring back Metroid.

Nintendo is not going to let us have a spin off for Metroids 30th anniversary. My idea is that they have something planned for next year. Maybe another 3DS metroid game like fusion or when they talk about the NX next year they might reveal a metroid!!!

Nintendo should just sell Metroid to Sony or Microsoft, they'll probably give a crap lol I would love to see a reboot of the franchise, a bit like what they did with Tomb Raider, show the origins of samus, she lose her parents, she grown up with the Chozo and she become a badass, make it more dark and real, it's a revenge story, it could be awesome, maybe open world were you explore different planet for clue or something, you upgrade the power armor with different technology found around the galaxy etc... anyway after seeing this game trailer I'm just... sad

I'm a huge fan of metriod and honestly I love this idea. It's about time we see the other people in the universe. Yeah ok it's not a samus game... So what. It's about time we at least see the other party of the spectrum.
