Ah that good old tactic to play dumb. Fool them into thinking you are a fool. 😂

I found myself half of the time enjoying the accent and the delivery. My enthusiasm was not bothered about the context.
Well done, subscribing now

He's not wrong that there's more involved with grades than merit (or effort), but that's also why I find his confidence in the ability of his intelligence to get him an A consistently precarious. This is a level of confidence is so beyond me. I put a lot of time and effort in, and I always want a buffer - I want good enough grades that they can absorb any bad grades from days or assignments that go sideways.

But as a dedicated, attentive, and considerate student, nothing has made me feel more powerful than hearing a professor say, "I don’t normally do this" when they extend grace to me or do me a favor (like give me an extension) 😏

0:53 Actually, it’s the opposite for me. They know I’m smart and get my work done and turned in on time, so they usually give me good feedback and excuse me when I miss a day of class for a legitimate reason. Build a good reputation, and more teachers will like you. That’s just my personal experience.

Anyway, good video.

Brilliant video. From hard experience this is 100% true especially regarding teachers

I actually disagree - my strategy is to define myself as a smart/organised student at the start of the year - that way, I leverage the halo effect and, layer in the year, if I hand in a mediocre paper, I’m more likely to score higher than I would otherwise since I’ve associated myself with high-grades

He 's right .. as a student I validated the teachers ego and was an easy student in order to get better grades and now as a tutor .. I too want to be liked and needed by my students 😅✌

For a man to do incredible good, one must be capable of incredible evil. He wasn't acting, he was emulating his former self.

I thank YouTube for recommending me this and also Read Choi for making this.
It got better and better as it was nearing the end.
This will become viral.
