Got Damm!!!! We are in June 2022 and I have just bought a set of JCF EVOX 12 and there was two chrates on the top speakers. I am have been promised two new top speakers in Oktober. Had I seen this video for just one week ago… I had bought EV 50 instead😰🤬

I had to send back RCF 705as mk2 subs 4 times. All 4 times I found wood cracks, paint chips, grill was dented and 1 was dead on arrival. I lost faith in RCF. I got my money back. I'm rocking my EV's.

True story,
i bought new the complete set of the EV Ekx speakers. The two subs had the exact same issue you had here but little worse. Before walking out of the store I noticed the box was damaged so I decided to open. GC kept them and ordered me new subs. No way was I going to take them damaged at full price. Two weeks later I saw them selling at the floor at a discount.
Question is: was it really UPS/fedex or was it at EV?

Yeah these speakers are just too expensive for them not to come in perfect condition. So please ensure they give you replacement in perfect condition or they give you a massive discount on them.

I personally prefer conventional speakers. I've tested a few pillars. Practical and quick to set up, for background sound, but not suitable for DJ jobs as the main PA. And RCF ...:-(
