The 5s was my first iPhone, still have it now as a backup device. It's 2019 but it amazes me how well it runs still. I honestly remember watching this video several years ago as I was preparing to get my 5s too!

I'm an iPhone addict. I had the 5 and now 5s. I noticed a speed increase. It just feels faster. The FPS for animations is faster after the phone has been on for a while. Pictures look awesome, but the rate at which it takes the pics is the best thing versus the 5. Just a personal experience.

My iPhone 5s lasts about 12-13 hours of heavy use. I make sure all the battery hogs are turned of like Bluetooth, reduce motion, etc.

you know if you scratched the touch id and it wont pick up you're finger print anymore can you just delete it and do it all over again would that work ?

Jon, I'm pretty sure that the Touch ID Sensor recognizes your finger more than 60% of the time. For me, as soon as I configured it for the first time, it recognized my finger 10 out of 10 times. Most other reviewers will say the same. And the sensor will only get better at recognizing your finger over time.

I have 2 HTC ones and I'm trading one for a 5s. Not sure if I'll keep it I switched to android when the iPhone 4 came out cause I got bored and I'm not sure I'll like the tiny screen on the iPhone.

I went from an iPhone 4 to the 5S. So far I really like the camera. It's not better than my point and shoot but it's great camera to always have with me.
