Police are investigating a high-tech crime that struck one man in West Baltimore--a crime that seems to be gaining traction with some thieves.

At first, Anthony Ross was confused about what happened.

"None of the windows (on my vehicle were) busted out and none of the doors are damaged," said Ross.

Then he realized his luxury-filled 2022 Ford Bronco had been broken in--quickly, quietly.

It's 2024, you can't leave portable electronics in your vehicles. Especially overnight.

The three things you don't leave in an unlocked vehicle

This random dude just walked straight up to that vehicle and it just happened to have those expensive items in it. He didn’t even have to look around almost like it was planned hmmm!!!

Bullshit someone isn't going to take the time to make a key to open the door and not take the vehicle. He either left the vehicle unlocked or its insurance scam. If he was just grabbing the shit in the car, then he didn't have a key, and it was unlocked, or if it was locked, he would've smashed a window

Ahh that's your own fucking fault for leaving high dollar shit in your car. 😮

How could you be so stupid to leave all that in your vehicle when you are well aware of city crime, you are 50% of the blame. 😢

I still don’t understand why people voluntarily live, move to and start businesses and families in Baltimore, especially Baltimore city. Truly boggles the brain

Man, electronics in cars have made it so much easier to steal cars without having to cause damage. They get more money from the guys at the docks now without the busted windows and scratched up doors.

Smh, left unlocked, get tints and rims but dont spend on a Viper alarm system. A Bronco is NOT a luxury vehicle new thats it. Who the hell leaves laptop, money and power tools in a open lot? Luxury or new cars lock after a while if key is not detected, only way a car stays open is if he left the keys inside the car.😂
