I wish there were more reviewers like you, calling Samsung out for things they should have fixed years ago. That's one of the things that maybe would change "we'll fix it with updates...oh, btw, it's time for our new device to be presented" tactics of Samsung which should not be acceptable at this price range.

With this latest patch the S23U just became smoother and the battery lasts a little bit longer than before.. a friend told me the same about his, did u notice anything similar?

I used to pro curved screen, but since getting the S24 Ultra, I find I do prefer the flat screen.

I was also frustrated with the S23U. The micro stutters made it feel like i was using a 60 hz panel.I switched over to the Z Fold 6. Is it just me or do others feel like their phones start to slow down when it's due for an upgrade cycle?

It is really ridiculous that they slow down the previous models to buy new models. And I also have this problem. I hope this problem will be solved in the new One UI

The most irritating animation is the unlocking transition when you first unlock the phone! But as a whole, my S23U witch I have from day 1 has never performed better than it is now. Samsung make small improvement, look like 1-2years more to finally make the UI smooth as the compatition. To me, other phone's UI somehow feels lighter, those S23/S24 series perform close to a 3 year old Xiaomi/Poco phone in terms of smoothness.
