Someone said you need moisturizer for your head, but no for those red spots and scaling on the scalp under the hair, you need a medicated shampoo such as Selsun or Nizoral. (It's not dryness, it's the skin over-reacting to the natural yeast/fungus which is everywhere, so the medicated shampoo keeps it under control.)
