You're a techie my friend. You can do some fine stuff in live audio mixing. Listening you talk about equalizing certain channels makes me wander how much you know about audio mixing.. Good stuff 👍🏼

Yeah I just bought this for the same reason, I have a zoom H8 which was doing the Job ok, but I couldn't hear my wife over the movie audio but she could hear me just fine. This was the simplest solution that I could find. I am sure the next generation of this product will be very good.

Just buy L-12 for my home studio. In Finland it costed 520€. I use it with Avid Pro Tools first. They work nice together.
One minor shortage it does not have midi plugs. But I have another machine which has.

Good review! I have the L12 as well. I’m new to the movie vlog scene but sounds really cool. With the L12 you could likely have an additional guest logging with you in a live stream situation too I’m guessing. Like a zoom call with audio feed going in a separate channel while watching the same movie from a separate location. Seems possible to me. Might not be a new idea to you by now haha!

I thought you were going to say this is my new toy for podcasting while in home confinement. I have the Rode Rodecaster Pro for the same $599 price that I use as an all in one easy podcasting solution, but I don't think it can do the headphone feature you want.
