So fun fact for Dylan causei know how much he loves Spyro, Spyro and crash's developers actually were close friends and were literally across the hall from each other and they would play the early builds of each others games which is why in the original spyro games there were easter eggs to play some of crash hidden in the game

I always remember that F-Zero was made as a pack in title like pikman, where it was a new franchise that (if nothing else) could show the benefits of the console. F-Zero was showing how fast the SNES can process movement speed and show things in 2d that look somewhat 3d. Sega specifically advertised Sonic to showcase how much faster and more fun the Genesis was compared to the SNES and, more specifically, Super Mario World, which did not come out as a pack in title. Kinda neat trivia that led me to the correct answer.
