Tesla's Secret FSD Ride-Hailing Network for Employees

Elon Musk shared details during Tesla’s Q3 2024 earnings call, confirming that the service is currently available only to employees near the company’s headquarters. Each vehicle is equipped with Tesla’s latest Full Self-Driving software, but a human driver is still present for safety reasons.

Musk also mentioned that Tesla aims for unsupervised Full Self-Driving to be safer than human drivers by mid-2025. However, the company’s plans to launch the ride-hailing network more widely depend on regulatory approval.
