Hey Everyone I hope you are enjoying OUR videos geared toward helping you not only PASS but KICK BUTT on the NYS Algebra 1 Common Core Regents Exam!!!

Remember when you factor a quadratic lets say x^2 + 4x - 12 = 0. You would factor this to (x-6)(x+2) = 0 which would give your roots/zeros of x = +6 and x = -2 (these are the zeros and this is where the graph crosses the X-Axis. Hope this makes sense.

At 21:12, why did you switch the sign, for example, it was at -3, but you said (x+3) I know the right answer is 1 but can you explain why you switch the pluses and negatives? Thank you

Hey krause im watching this videos but at the same time doing the same test so i can check myself. So far im getting them all right but for 2 of the problems, my school has given me a texas instruments calculator so i have diffrent functions than so i cant solve the way you did for number 17. Could you please tell me a diffrent way or how i can do it on my calculator?

you made a mistake in the 18th multiple choice. you wrote 0.5x while it is 1.5x (in 4th choice)

If you have 12 multiple choice correct then how many short answer responses you need to get correct in order to pass?

so if you have 30000(1.78)^x does it mean it's increasing by 22% or 78%? my guess is 78%?
