Les Paul Customs are the sort of guitars that strike fear into the hearts of men. They're refined beasts, sure, but beneath that sophisticated veneer they're all rock and roll muscle. Needless to say, we're all huge Custom fans here at Wildwood, so we jumped at the chance to add one to the Wildwood Spec family! After many nerdy phone conversations about things like getting the color of the binding juuuuuuust right and countless hours of toil from the wizards at the Gibson Custom Shop, our latest entry in the Wildwood Spec series is finished!

The Wildwood Spec 1957 Les Paul Custom features a solid mahogany body for extra tonal heft and exceptional resonance. The ebony fingerboard is also attached with hot hide glue for improved energy transfer, so these guitars are quite loud and resonant when unplugged! Our Wildwood Spec Custom 'Buckers only improve this excellent natural tone by delivering sweet, vintage-perfect tone. After paying so much attention to replicating the sound of the originals, we had to make sure they looked right, too! So, we equipped them with waffle-back tuners, gold hardware, and vintage-accurate plastics to complete the package. We are so proud of these Wildwood Spec 1957 Les Paul Customs, and we know you will find them just as inspiring as we do!

Holy Jesus! This guitar is magical! One of the best Customs I’ve heard on this channel. You could tell Greg was digging this one. Just fantastic.

One of the best crunch tones I’ve heard in a long time. Love the Les Paul Custom ever since I was kid. Back then, this was my dream guitar. Fretboard still ebony?

It reminds me of a '68 Les Paul reissue, which is my favorite Gibson.

The saddest reality is that I've more chance of owning that guitar than I have of playing it that well

Greg is living proof that the sound does truly come from the hands.

You should hit the road with you and that guitar and come to Pittsburgh. I pay to watch you do more of that in person. Thumbs up Greg!

This is not an electric guitar. It’s an electric organ!
