Hi, I am your host Siddhartha! I have been an entrepreneur from 2012-2017 building two products AddoDoc and Babygogo. After selling my company to SHEROES, I and my partner Nansi decided to start up again. But we felt unequipped in our skillset in 2018 to build a large company. We had known 0-1 journey from our startups but lacked the experience of building 1-10 journeys.

Hence was born The Neon Show (Earlier 100x Entrepreneur) to learn from founders and investors, the mindset to scale yourself and your company. This quest still keeps us excited even after 5 years and doing 200+ episodes.

We welcome you to our journey to understand what goes behind building a super successful company. Every episode is done with a very selfish motive, that I and Nansi should come out as a better entrepreneur and professional after absorbing the learnings.

Sanjeev Sanyal did not say UPSC is a waste. He said spending too much time to crack UPSC is a waste of time. There are a lot of other avenues to explore instead of spending too much time on UPSC. If you are really really interested do it in a time boxed manner!!!

Sanyal sir didn’t tell it’s waste of time….he told that there are great opportunities to be so many great things….dont only focus on upsc, explore different opportunities

My bet is that Amitabh Kant will be rewarded by Modiji in Modi 3.0 just like Dr S Jaishankar with a cabinet berth. For the sheer performance as Sherpa of G20 and legendary last hours of marathon negotiations to arrive at a deal

Many countries in the world, doing good in tourism.
Draw backs of tourism in India
1. Transport
2. Cleanliness
3. Availability of continantal food
4. Safety of roads
5. Language
6. Other than old monuments
Development of tourist attractions

Pl look into above subjects and give services like other tourist attractions in the world

A legend of his own kind, a visionary with passion and commitment to the nation. A good Lieutenant for Modi in the drive to take the nation to the next level.

It is surprising that you got Sanjeev Sanyal wrong. He made a nuanced point. Which is that considering an abysmally low success percentage, spending a significant part of youth on repeated attempts is a bad idea. It deprives the person of pursuing other talents or attempting startups where if successful, they would have created many more jobs and employment opportunities.
I heard some succesful startup founders attributing their success to not falling in the trap of wating their precious part of life on UPSC attempts.

Make in india, Make for India, Make for the world. Make for India is most important. We don't want Chinese like experience. Indian must consume largely make in India products and services for ling sustenance and growth rapidly especially ensuring circular economy

Misquoting Sanjeev Sanyal for a provocative effect! He only said so many youngsters spending several years trying multiple times to clear UPSC is a waste of their most productive years, move on if they dont clear within a few chances. He said the peer group of the youngsters limits their vision and they need to have more diverse role models not just IAS/IPS.

First of All Shri Sanjeev Sanyal never said UPSC is the waste of time in that context where people are interpreting and if you all have proper ears and brains working then you can see the Vast i mean literally huge number of youth is engaging their 5 to 10 yrs and tons of money wasting in preparing for civil services and not getting anything and Entrepreneurship, Good Doctor, good Engineer, Good lawyer and Good everything our country needs and he mentioned that mean its high time people must not fall in the propaganda of Coaching Centers and must realise their true set of skills and potential so that they can work accordingly for their Mathrubhumi 🇮🇳...✌️

His advice to youth involves starting a company and contributing to the economy and NOT preparing for govt exams. But in the podcast he said he doesn't agree with Sanjeev sir just because his ego of being a govt employee came in between. Sanjeev sir was right about upsc. It's ruining India like no other but I bet in the next few years this will come to an end because this government is focused on the private sector contributing to the economy more than the government sector.
