Leadership 101:Who are you following?

OMG!! Hi loves. So, the other day while cooking dinner a few thoughts came to mind about following. As a leader, I still have to follow. Yes, you’re in an authoritative position and yes you’re assertive and yes you’re a leader, that still needs to follow. In my own personal experience, while I’ve allowed the holyspirit to be my guide, there are some places I would have never imagined to go to. When you are a follower of Christ, you will be led to do things. You will be led to go places. Led to leave thing’s and people behind. The good thing is, you’re not doing anything alone. Every great leader is also a good follower. Something I always remind myself of, is that I am forever a student. When you truly know who you are, you don’t mind being viewed as someone the world sees as less than. Just because I am a student, doesn’t make me less of a leader. When I get home from a day of work, I know how to come home, put my apron on and take the cape off etc lol. I know how to show up in the board room. I know when it’s time to get dolled up and pretty and I know how to throw on a pair of air forces and joggers to get out and get messy. It’s called BALANCE!! If what and who you are following, takes you away from following Christ, stop following them. If who are what you are following takes your attention away from priorities, stop following them. Lastly, keep showing up authentically YOU!! People respect you more for being yourself. Go where you’re VALUED. Your PRESENCE is the blessing. I say this humbly not with arrogance. The holyspirit dealt with me personally about this and told me why I was feeling so bad and depleted. He shared with me is because you keep entertaining people that don’t value you or your presence. YOU and I need to be around people who ACTUALLY WANT TO BE AROUND YOU AND I. No more forcing people into relationships with you, no more overextending yourself to people who don’t want nothing but access to you. If it isn’t being reciprocated, leave!! I said lastly already, haha!! Follow CHrist. Follow people who follow him. Make sure to check their fruits.(Galatians 5) if they take your attention away from following Christ, you shouldn’t be following them!! If it seems to good to be true, then maybe it really is.Fruit isn’t about quantity. You can have huge followings and leading people to be just as hellish as you.Bad mouthing other believers in Christ and blasting them on social media with the intent of (Exposing)IS NOT OF GOD. YOU ARE OUT OF ORDER!! The Bible tells us, we should go DIRECTLY to them if we take offense and speak to them DIRECTLY. Matthew 18: 15-20. Not in subliminal posts on social media etc. With the intent of EXPOSING them and making yourself seem powerful, YOU ARE NOT GOD. He will do the exposing if it isn’t right beloved. If you are following people who does this, THEY HAVE A FAMILIAR SPIRIT AND NOT THE HOLYSPIRIT. Leave QUICKLY!! They are not of GOD, but a distraction. They have called themselves.‘They have not been proven, tested and tried. They are making a name for themselves! RUN !! Proverbs 25:2
