Calibrations are a must on Hubsan drones! The Hubsan Zino Mini Pro has 5 calibrations: Compass Calibration, Horizontal Calibration, Gyro Calibration, Gimbal Calibration and IMU Calibration.
I show you how and what order I do them in.

This drone gets hot!!! Yes I know the solution would be to put a fan in place but should you really have to do that just to transfer your images, update firmware or do your calibrations?
Hubsan always needs us to do something to work around the issues they give us.

Dear QC GUY, I have the usual problem of gimbal flex cable ( broken) in my Hubsan Zino Mini Pro. Do you know (or one of of the boys of the suscribers family) if is there a flex cable for Hubsan Zino Mini Pro available ? or the only one solution ( after try the failed instructions direct from Hubsan to press the flex cable) is to get a full new gimbal? Please, are so kind to let me know about this. And congratulaition for so good Youtube Channel!

Nice & calm. I see Hubsan has a different order but does it make much difference? The last few weeks Hubsan has disappeared. No FB, no CS replies. With the Thermal barrier on, the CPU temp (on mine) got up to 55C doing the calibrations. I did it on a marble counter which you would think be a lot cooler. All new updates today so its back to square one on the learning curve I guess. I think I will stick with my First Impressions.🤣

Great video But seems there is a lot of messing with the Zino and you do not have to do all this with DJI drones. How come with this buddy as price is large for what it is... Is DJI Mini 2 better as no

Hey you should really update your title on this video and put in parenthesis Exo mini. Given the exo mini is basically this same hubsan drone I found your vid by searching for a problem I was having on my exo mini and this calibration stuff you go over here fixed my issue. So just FYI this information in your vid is still relevant in 2023 but most people searching for help these days might not know to search for hubsan zino and instead have an exo mini like me since they bought out hubsan.

Hey Chris, the audio is on the low side.

No ZMP for me at this time. Took my refund and built a nice 4s/6s 7" inav long range that goes for almost 25+minutes on li-ion with digital fpv and on-board recording from analog. No 3 axis gimbal with camera - the one reason I wanted to get the ZMP or DJI. The other is - long flight time. I'm still tuned in to your reviews and enjoy them.

Thanks for the tutorial Chris. Hubsan website still shows "Not for sale" on their drones...BK coming?
I'm with you on Autel...came out to early...like Hubsan...who knew? That's not the way to market your drones. Will definitely wait for many reviews before I pull the trigger on a Nano +. They way overpriced their forthcoming drones IMO. Heck, at this rate DJI will have their new Mini out by the time Autel gets theirs to market! LOL
Agree with a couple of the other posters that if Hubsan ever overcomes the camera issues it will be real competitor but firmware updates changing EIS will not accomplish this. Go back to the camera manufacturer and get them to fix the problem Hubsan!
