ODDS of this Miracle is ASTRONMICAL!

During World War II, two American soldiers were stationed in Australia. While driving to an anti-aircraft defense station, they were caught in an enemy air raid. They managed to dodge most of the bombs but one struck their jeep, causing it to explode. Miraculously, they were thrown clear of the blast and took cover in a ditch. After the attack subsided, they examined the remains of the jeep and found a piece of bomb shrapnel with the driver's father's name on it.

They later discovered that the driver's father had junked an old Chevy car, which had his name engraved on the engine block. The car was sold for scrap and its parts were eventually recycled into weapons by Japan.

Couldn’t happen because the metal would have been melted down

No way the smelting process would not permit this from occurring.

Kind of weird you would think that the metal would have been melted down or something ruining the engraving ..

The engine block would have been melted down to make the bomb thus destroying the engraving

So the scrap would have been smelted but the writing stayed on the schrapnel?

This is bull💩. Scrap is melted down and reused. They don’t take an old car and beat it into a bomb housing. 😂

That would be impossible because if the name came from the block of the engine that was melted down to make munition then his name would have been vaporized in the smelting process

What about the U.S. paratrooper who was starting to jump out of a DC3 goonie bird, or skytrain, on the early morning of June 6, 1944.This soldier was sitting down and happened to pull out the name of his mother on his parachute, and the name of the parachute company.Sonya j, made by American parachute company. He said out loud, just before they jumped at 2am, said I know our parachutes are going to open, because my mom made them!
