His first symphony should deserve more credit.

A wonder <3 I find so moving that in the Andante he already uses the 1st theme of the last movement of the Jupiter, his alpha-omega motif.

I’ve always been a fan of the late Christopher Hogwood...and his Academy of Ancient music; and his recordings of Mozart’s symphony’s in which i started buying back in 1980 are no exception. There are different recording venues here....with all the box vinyl record sets that i bought years ago. you can always tell. i personally much prefer a recording made in a church; as apposed to a hall; depending how big it is; because the music never sounds dry. These particular recordings here...starting with symphony no 1. Were recorded in a church by the sounds of it. Christopher’s recording of Handel’s messiah is a good example too....recorded in St Jude on the hill.
I just like to point out that Trevor pinnock’s recordings of Mozart’s symphonies on original and authentic copies of instruments used during Mozart’s time sound pretty good too.

Good job the only version that is in tune on YouTube. You should be number 1 in the suggestions because some plebs uploaded shitty versions

What we find over and over in composer's biographies is that they grew up "in a musical household". That gave them the chance to develop perfect pitch. When you start learing the piano with age 3 you also can get perfect pitch. I, unfortunately, grew up in a family who didn't play piano or violin, so I haven't ever had the chance to develop perfect pitch. But Mozart did, and Haydn did, and Beethoven did ... and all the other great composers. They all grew up in housholds where the piano was played and they learned music like we all learned language. That makes them capable to listen to a F+ chord or a C° or a Eadd9 and realize immediately from which tones they are made of and what feelings they provoke.

Es admirable saber que está primera sinfonía la escribió a los 12 años, en verdad un niño genio.
