Make him sell the team. If they can give lifetime bans to fans spending their hard earned money on tickets when they get out of line, why not force an owner to sell his share; he'll be fine with the profit from the sale. If this was 20 years ago, GSW would be a loss, now it's a gold mine.

Maybe the Warriors organization will ask for this guy to sell. Maybe that was part of the deal so that the Warriors can save face and say "See, team, we don't want that here. You see, fans, if the part-owner can't be like this, nobody can." Maybe Adam Silver wants it to come from them and not from himself. Silver may have seen the protocols and other prior instances and saw that this comparatively speaking was a fair punishment, but now the Warriors can handle this guy any way they see fit, too, to save face and make a PR move. You can't have executives and management yelling and having questionable and unprofessional behavior, not at the top. I think the Warriors will realize this soon and tell him to sell, and sell low... "You're out, and this is what you are getting with your share." I bet by Monday, before the NBA Finals are over, this guy will be out... Or do you wait? Do you wait so that this doesn't take away from your team being in the Finals so it's not a distraction or resolving it right now makes it more of a distraction going forward?

for anyone complaining that 500k to this billionaire is nothing, he shoved him. Shouldn't have happened, but let's not make it to seem like he murder happened. from a financial standpoint 500k is fine. and I don't know when he bought his stake in GSW, but if it was pre this dynasty, he would likely make a sizeable gain, so thoughts and prayers to him

I get more and more annoyed with the situation by the bloom of white vs. black/white privilege debate on social media. This was an aroused fan who saw his chance to engage and unequivocally support his team by his actions. There was no malice; disdain? yes. Being an owner does make the behavior glaringly more unacceptable, than a traditional fan. The outrage here is because he's white. If this was a black minority owner worth $2.3B, all that would have been said is, "you can't act that way, here's your punishment" People would have made excuses for him as well, because you aren't allowed to hold minorities to the accountability requirements placed upon white people
