AI and robots can be useful, but they also raise concerns about privacy, job loss, and dependence on machines. We are heading towards a future where humans might become passive and constantly monitored. Is this progress or a potential danger?

I think the main question here is not whether I would trust a robot, but *which robot manufacturers* I could trust. Right now, common phone applications are spying on us, people use insecure software prone to being hacked, a certain tech billionare is torching his brand by wading into toxic/corrupt politics... I think I (and probably most people) would be more concerned about where the robot comes from than the robot itself.

It's good in some aspects, horrible in others. We as human beings are already addicted to too many devices that have decreased our memory capacity. How many of us remember our loved ones telephone numbers? Actually remember them... How many of us know how to really cook with measured ingredients? Make soap from scratch.. And other skills and tasks?

I have a robot vacuum which vacuums and mops my floors daily and I LOVE it, it’s so incredible how my house can be so clean all the time
And I also have one for my pool
But I don’t want a humanoid robot, even as a tech enthusiast I want to keep my interactions with living breathing humans (and on occasion dogs) thanks

I think the worst part of this tech is the psychological effect that will occur when the quality of life for most of us is so comfortable. As counterintuitive as it may sound, our brains are not used to living in such comfort without worrying about food, water, and protection. Already today the psychological effects are enormous, with high suicide rates and anxious people everywhere.
