Migrants dropped off at Kamala Harris’ home “willingly chose to go,” Abbott’s office says

A spokesperson for Texas Gov. Greg Abbott confirmed the migrants came from Texas, saying they "willingly chose to go."

Abbott's communications director said the migrants signed a "Voluntary consent waiver" in multiple languages. The White House is calling the move on Christmas Eve a "shameful stunt."
