I'd settle for a little flat in either Fitzrovia or Marylebone. First place I ever stayed at was as a callow 17 year old with an address and phone number a teacher had given me. I arrived on the doorstep of a Mansion block on Gt Titchfield st to be greeted by Pam, my teachers erstwhile school friend, who was very welcoming and let me stay in a back bedroom for a few days while I found my feet. Turned out Pam was a High class 'escort' who brought all manner of interesting types home late at night. Quite an eye opener for a young chap from the sticks.
