So true! Playing games is crucial for growth. She said good things in your podcast.

I did play regularly during last year plus some analyzing afterward every game . And I studied a lot of your materials, it so fun! Resulting in a nice chess skills growth. 1650+ rapid (at the most populair chess site). Thank you Dr. Can!

And for this 2025 year, I will play a bit more games (on my ChessUp board) and analyze these game afterward more intense (including annotation).

That means, I will study a bit less (but enough anyway) because of time shortage. I think because of your great group coaching, courses and great YT videos, this new approach will be even more effective. I go for reaching 1800 rapid this year!

The Chess Elevator is the practical training plan for me. The idea is to focus on the skills that are needed at the rating range a player is currently having. But there's also the bookworm side of my personality, that refuses to keep silent. To satisfy its demands I read Sam Shanklands 'Theoretical endgames', which I know to be the topic of later stages of The Chess Elevator. Maybe that's crazy too, but what can you do. 😁
