For those of you that, like me, thought that they'd have collected all 227 chests, but the game is only displaying 226 chests, be sure to double check if you got the battle chest containing the Gazpacho Recipe in The Greatwoods South (#227). It seems that this recipe can be bought somewhere and since I already got the "cook all recipes"-achievement before I thought i'd have already collected this one, but I did not - was the missing chest for me. I hope that helps.

Currently 215/227, even though I was pretty sure that I have thoroughly explored all the dungeons
I found one I missed on Castle Harganthia #182 57:01 didn't noticed that
I think I'll try to get all the encounters chest first and explore around again with Aire, Dash Boot, Quick Movement Rune on Nowa + Monster Repel Charm

I have a problem, I opened the 227 chests available in the game. I'm sure I checked them 3 times. And the game counts 226 chests and does not validate my success. I am extremely disappointed, could you resolve the problem, I spent a lot of time there and I want to finish the game 100%

Followed it step by step. Missed 1 chest. So I did it all over again. I counted the chest I found. It was 227 chest. But 1 chest did not register again. It is 100% a bug

I found the last chest. Or mabye it was just a bug in a bug. I could not get 227 chests no matter what on my first playtrough. On my second playtrough I did all the chests again. and it was still 226. The chest I was missing was The charm quest you need to open for Mariette. So if you are stuck on 226 on a second playtrough. Trying recruiting Mariette again. Somehow that counts as the 227 chest.
