Battlefield 3: Gulf of Oman Gameplay Trailer

We are bringing back three popular combat vehicles from Battlefield 2 into the Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand expansion pack: The STOVL fighter jet, desert buggy, and one of the APC's. In this gameplay trailer from the Gulf of Oman map, you can also get a first glimpse of a classified fourth vehicle bound to strike fear into the very hearts of the enemy. OMG I miss those late nights spent on BF3. Felt like you u are in a real combat. I think majority of players would get this game again with newer graphics/better physics etc... I don't even need new maps, those maps are gorgeous.

Gulf of Oman: my favorite map of all time. It's neat when you're driving the boat in, and all hell is breaking loose in the distance, as you watch the stray bullets, random explosions, and the occasional jet crashing in to the water behind you. And think: every one of those was made by a player probably somewhat like yourself. That's what's magical about this map.

I fucking love this trailer so much. Brings back the memories of how heinous the battles on Battlefield 3 were. BF4 is great, but BF3 just felt more like a legit militaristic war game. In BF4, if you aren't playing on Hardcore only with legit squads that use cooperation and play tactically, it doesn't feel too real. A lot of it is just running around everywhere getting kills in a tub of senseless chaos.  A tank and an apache helicopter don't mean shit anymore in Battlefield 4. You saw either of those things in Battlefield Bad Company 1 and 2 or in Battlefield 3, you were fucked. BF4 is more like, oh it's just a tank, no worries, the real threat is the 12 year old running around getting a killstreak.

Love this damn game to death. So close to perfection. Love the map sizes, sounds, music, banter the whole shebang! We need this updated, hell just relaunch it as it is on dedicated servers again!

I hope if they make a BF5, that they go for that hyper realistic look. Battlefield 3 was way more fun than BF4 and it looked more realistic imo.
