Redeeming a FAIL of a resin pour in wooden gear art

I used art resin to fill this wood gear and encase some dried roses and lichens. Art resin is means for thin pours, to coat things like paintings. What I should have done is use an epoxy resin like Flowcast, but in the midst of a move I couldn't locate my supply and wasn't patient enough. Lessons are learned through error sometimes!
