She had been planning the perfect surprise birthday for me. All my friends knew. But when they found out that I would be proposing a day after her surprise, they felt it would be fit to fill me in on her little secret. The result would be one of the most romantic and memorable moments of our relationship. Days before this, I properly asked her parents for their blessing. It was perfect.
