My computer system was literally about to fry itself when I was streaming Rec Rooom because it makes me extremely laggy and the airvent was getting kinda too hot

Well the drive is... just a drive, not an OS. 😆 Feel bad you didn't go through steps like bcdedit and repair 😬
Your old drive may still be just fine, it could be that you did a hard shutdown when your computer was working on a system update/windows update in the background, big no no to hard reset unless absolutely necessary.

Maybe even try to use that usb tool you created to do startup repair? But it seems you just installed windows fresh on the new drive you got.

Or that it's dead, format it, and use it as extra video storage if it's SMART is saying it's ok?

the boot option was probably deleted and if you let the computer just sleep it wont turn off and the problem could have existed for a while and if auto updates are off then maybe you just never restarted to notice it was already broken but drive is not dead

I think it broke because you held down the power button instead of unplinging your PC for a outlet
