I personally think the most important reason to watch the awards is that some hardworking developers and artists especially from non AAA titles get recognised and seen for their brilliant work and efforts, it matters to them more than we think, it's food on their table and other opportunities and a beacon of hope among the recent employee cutbacks in the gaming industry and the rise of AI trend in many aspects of development.

I used a zephyrs g15 for years, good pc but really poor heat management, after 2 years I changed thermal paste and the gpu was black as if it were burned in fact the performance had dropped a lot. I bought a few months ago a g16 with i9 and 4070, it was always at 90 degrees, the body was burning. Without taking into account that the display had stains due to assembly defects. In a nutshell, poor quality control for what the product costs.
