1. 1989 (Taylor’s Version)
(I grew up listening to 1989 og, and whenever I listen to I wish you would and how you get the girl I have flashbacks to when I was like 6 years old, just dancing in my room to Taylor swift music. I think all the tracks are unskippable and have deep meanings)
2. Reputation
(I love reputation with all my heart too, I honestly can’t wait for rep tv. All of the songs in rep are so edgy yet soft and elegant.)
3. Folklore
(Folklore songs are really on another level for me, the lyrics are so poetic and soft like you’re walking into an ancient museum. I love the story telling aspect of it and I love the metaphors she uses to describe certain things)
4. Speak now (Taylor’s version)
(I think it’s really impressive how she wrote all the songs by herself without any help from anyone else, and I love the songs in there, they just feel really joyful and carefree)
5. Lover
(I know for sure Taylor had a great time making lover and I love the tracks in lover, the songwriting is incredible and I love the way the music feels like you’re floating on clouds. Does that make sense?)
6. Midnights
(This is her newest album, but I love how she wrote songs based off her past experiences. I love the tunes of all the songs and the lyrics are top notch. The whole album gives off kind of an elegant 90’s vibe and I love it so much.)
7. Evermore
(This one I can say is one of the most underrated albums. The story telling aspect and the poetry of the music is really good and I love the whole “magical” vibe of it.)
8. Taylor Swift
(No matter what people say, I don’t think debut is the worst. It’s full of happiness and rage and sadness from when Taylor was a teenage girl. I think it expresses her emotions well and I’m sure she had a great time making it.)
9. Red (Taylor’s version)
(I’m sorry to red stans, but yes, this is not my favourite album. I love the vibe of this album and I think the lyrics of the songs are incredible, like the lyrics of all too well and starlight are truly incredible, but I just like other albums more. That being said, I think red is still a masterpiece and definitely deserves the title of most searched era in Google of 2023.)
10. Fearless (Taylor’s Version)
(Yes, this is my least favourite album. I think all the songs are great but they’re not really special to me. Ironically the songs that made me a swiftie are you belong with me and love story, but frankly I love this album but it isn’t special to me. To me, there’s nothing that brings it over the top. I still think it’s really good though and I still love it.)
