I don't think it's all that controversial. The reason that a lot of American fast food in other countries is better is because a lot of the shitty ingredients and practices that we use here are illegal in other places.

The reason for the fewer ingredients is because Europe in general is not as lax on dyes and preservatives as the US. Hence the reason for example, Fanta Orange uses actual fruit juice in it to give it its orange juice like colour, unlike the US which uses a dye and it looks like carrot juice!

Because here in uk we have banned alot of the chemicals they allow in the USA also oasis is a still drink not a soda

In Brazil, we have the Cheddar McMelt (a burger with caramelized onions on rye bread and, obviously, cheddar). We also have guaraná (a Brazilian soft drink made with a fruit of the same name), Danoninho (a strawberry cheese dessert), and McShake de Caramelo e Paçoca (a milk shake made with caramel and a peanut dessert called paçoca).

It's not only better but better for you in that they don't allow certain chemicals to be used legally in the food as an additive.

Every OTHER country's McD I've been to has been better than the one in the US that I've tried. Hong Kong, Japan, Germany, Norway, Portugal, Morocco, Korea, Austria, France and many mor. Without exception.
