I was in that same situation at 12, but my dad took that as a lesson . It really sucked!! He told me that the world can and WILL provide!!!!
Later that day, the guy and his son came to our camp side, and made us food and said thank you. It was bitter sweat!!!
The next day I got my first deear!!!!

GOOD

Stealing a kill from a young novice hunter is pretty low. You've got more restraint than I, that's for sure.

Sir, you are truly the man of honor and I am totally praise you for your sincere honesty and patient teach g your daughter to do the
right thing which could save her life someday when she is able to hunt on her own. I loss a deer that way too to an immoral hunter who only wanted just the head n shoulder of my 10 pt. Buck that took me 3 yrs to get him.

God bless you n your daughter.😢😢😢

My daughter and I worked hard to get her first deer this season. Work hard with ups and downs. I learned a lot as a Dad. She had fun watching squirrels and birds with no deer

The best way to make someone realize they acted like a douche, is treat them in the nicest way possible.

At least she got something for that... Sometimes a lesson is a greater thing... There is always another deer... Life is funny like that... Ruining A-day hunt is pretty bad... But if you learned a life lesson... Totally worth it... Humility and sacrifice... Still kind of sucks they got your deer... But life is not always fair... Spending time with family is the most important thing... I'm glad people with morals are still doing things with their kids... Good for you...

You got more patience than me to deal with them in such a kind manner

Social philosophy, with a hunter dad. Pretty dope, did not expect that

That’s disappointing. Most hunters know how long and tough done hunts are. I am glad that you were able to share this valuable lesson with your daughter through. There will be other bucks but you may not have the opportunity to show that Grace again.

Those other hunters should never have gone after that deer 🦌..to me that was unethical and greedy of them. If I'd have seen you were onto that stalk of that deer. I'd have backed off and simply enjoyed watching.

As much As hunting is fun and important to learn, I’m sure your daughter learned a lot from how well you handled yourself

I would have told my daughter to go to the truck, turn on the music up, close your eyes, and count to 60.

Then I would pay the guys for the deer.

when I was 13 I shot a 6 point with a bow and was tracking it because my shot wasn't great but it was bleeding out after a hour of tracking I come up on a middle age man gutting my deer with half my arrow sticking out and no other wounds and he just took my first deer with a bow and after a short argument I just said that you must need it more than me and walk away
