Tatums average points go down maybe 2-3 at most with Porzingis on the court. But his assists will go up. And that’s winning basketball. The Celtics don’t hang trophy’s for individuals. They hang banners. This is a great boost for the entire team. Porzingis makes a difference.
Not to mention he makes Brown bitter. And brown hasn’t been quite as good this season as last. Yet.

17:55 YES! Thank you for bringing this up! Jokić only plays as great _as he needs to_ — he would MUCH rather play fewer minutes and have less impressive personal stats IF the team was solid enough to still get the wins!

As a lifelong Nuggets faithful, my hope is that the team _around_ Joker will continue to elevate such that he can downshift his level and minutes of play. THIS was the formula that allowed Denver to coast in the #1 seed for weeks and have them fresh and healthy going into their championship run. It is also what allowed the narrative to shift for the simple-minded and recency bias brains who let Embrittle’s campaigning get him his little MVP.

Joker has shown throughout his career that he will happily concede the Employee of the Year award as long as the team is winning.

If Joker continues to only use his powers for winning and not for selfish vanity, I hope the NBA community will not lose sight of his greatness that goes beyond the stats.

And btw, kudos to my Nuggs for showing up and showing out (eventually 😝) versus the Lakers. The fact that the fellas carried their own weight *_enabled_* Jok to NOT have to have another triple-double and I love that for GOATkić and our squad! And I really hope you guys will keep including convos on the non-Jokić Nuggets throughout the season as well, thank you!😊⚒️🃏
