I am just an average American and i would like to say something to Dr Fauci. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. For protecting us. Informing us. Giving straight from the hip in such a thoughtful, loving and scientific manner 💗

Thanks for the shoutout! Here in Melbourne we just recorded our 17th day (updated) with zero new confirmed cases, despite maintaining high levels of testing. We are also using sewage surveillance to help identify undetected outbreaks. Masks are mandatory but honestly for me the mandate made it *easier* to wear one because it removed any stigma or social awkwardness. The feeling was "Hey we are all working together towards a common goal." Pity the US hasn't presented mask use as a patriotic act.

Given that medical providers are already scrambling for dry ice sources due to reduced production, and dry ice will be required for vaccine transport and distribution - that supply needs to be ramped up ASAP so sufficient amount will be available for vaccine distribution without impacting other medical care.

We should be making M95 masks for all Americans in America and forget these cloth masks!

Please please stop saying just wear a mask..and say wear a mask OVER your nose and mouth. Here in the south people think you mean wear a mask OVER your mouth or under your chin. They all think they are "wearing a mask".

Greetings from Melbourne, Australia. It was hard, but we did it!

Contributing factors: a strong sense of community combined with empathy towards those who are more vulnerable, detailed daily briefings from leadership and public health experts, and a belief that those with expertise know their business. In simple terms: trust.

Here's hoping we can maintain extremely low levels of community transmission over the long-term by continuing our commitment to the mitigation measures: masks, social distancing, and hand hygiene.

Dr Bauchner bringing out a good point about seatbelt topic in the past. As a country we need to do the right thing to protect each other by wearing mask in public place. There are people whom have underline conditions are vulnerable to Covid19.

Remdesivir has shown no improvement in mortality. Why no controlled studies for Ivermectin in the US?

What's about long term rare side-effects of vaccine?? What's about antibody dependent enhancement and Covid-19 vaccine??

As far as rolling out the vaccines to the public, perhaps the Red Cross should be the ones to do the job as they did quite well rolling out polio vaccine. The Red Cross has a better public reputation rather than a new Federal Government distribution network, or a hodge-podge of State and Federal organizations. Maybe the Red Cross would be more readily accepted by the public as it is not associated much with current politics.

I’m a retired RN. I had to precisely ask moms doctor about protocols on pulse ox vs. thermometer since especially older folks don’t always run a big temperature. I asked in context of, when to go to ER vs. say, wait until next morning to get covid test. Her do other is good but overwhelmed. At check ups doesn’t have a script of public education to follow unless some retired nurse know how to pull it out of her. I shudder for families who do t have nurses and for overwhelmed hospitals who will get scared people who really don’t need to be in the ER. It they don’t know how to tell. Fix this public education please.

Thank you dr Fauci. I have pulmonary malt lymphoma. I had to work as an essential worker through the lockdown..my oncologist refused ne a note saying we dont have enough studies to determine you would be at risk. I'm a layperson I know I would be at risk. Thsnk you got standing up for vulnerable people. There ARE people who will gladly sacrifice them for their greed or their *frèedom*
