The Ibex

Here's the reveal of our new Forest River Ibex 19MBH. There's a lot of upgrades and customizations as well as our maiden voyage.

Should try to find or fashion a black diamond plate cover for the front windshield, it'd match nicely with the other cover and protect you from rock chips.

Great video - thank you for sharing the upgrades. We purchased a IBEX 19QBS in October and just went out for our true maiden voyage this past week to a nearby park, Lake Cachuma. We had a great time and discovered a few things that need fixing. The window in the door upgrade looks awesome, so thank you for the links - we'll take a look and let you know when we tackle that. Most of our shades already don't stay up, so I've watched a good video on how to adjust the tension in those, but I think I'm going to plan on replacing them with day night roller shades if we keep the trailer for any time. Did you guys add the 2nd propane tank, or did your unit come with 2? We added a 2nd battery to ours along with upgrading to AGM - now I kind of wish we would have bit the bullet and went Lithium ION. We also added the Furion camera in the back which I like when towing. Next steps for us - get a part that was missing at delivery installed and some warranty work - the door doesn't fit well and is very hard to open or shut. Another question! I love the window mod! I found in another post what window you used and I have ordered that as well. My question is, now that you have a few trips with it, have you encountered any issues (like leaking, getting loose) with this specific window I should me away of when I do my install?

300 watts? Holy cow. And those are New Mexico solar watts too. That's some of the cleanest, most premium sun one could collect.

We are looking st this model camper.
Liked the fact sets up higher, and light weight to tow.
But torn on the price point. Can buy a little bit bigger grey wolf with a slide out for about the same price/little cheaper.
Be our first New camper had a few used ones.

Hello there. We have a 19MBH too and so far love it. Your videos have been super helpful in generating some improvement ideas. One question, can you explain what Renogy solar panel you got and exactly how you connected it to the battery? It is super appealing to not run it through the Go Power onboard system and just have plug n play right at the battery box. Thanks!!
