One thing many people don't realize is the King of Salem, the High Priest of the order of Melchizedek was Shem the son of Noah. Salem is Jerusalem and this is a shadow picture of Yeshua Jesus as King and High Priest.
Psalms 110:4 LORD YEHOVAH swore and will not lie: "You are Priest to eternity in the likeness of Melchizedek.”
The word Semite and anti-semite also comes from descendants of Shem. Shemite.
Another thing that most people don't know is the Canaanites had a god they also called the most high, Baal or the Lord. This is why in verse Genesis 14:22 you see the capital LORD that has been used to replace God's name YEHOVAH. Abraham called Him by name " I have lifted my hand to YEHOVAH, the Most High El, the Possessor of heavens and Earth,
Abraham was distinguishing between the real God YEHOVAH and these other Kings fake god Baal.
Satan has done everything he possibly can to lead everyone astray including God's name being removed from the Bible and being replaced with the Lord which is the English translation of the word baal.

I’ve heard some say that God in the flesh is Jesus, God in the temple the father never ate. They did burnt offerings for the aroma and incense, but the priest ate God didn’t, but when God talked to Moses, saying that Sarah would have Isaac and Jacob, and that would be the nation of Israel, because Jacob is Israel that they ate, which means he was in the flesh. And Jesus implied when you were speaking to the Pharisees in the temple that he knew Abraham. And, of course, we know Jesus was born through Mary went through his life died, was resurrected, and is it the right hand of the father, but in the beginning there was the word in the word was with him, and the word was him, and these people theorize that whenever God came in the form of a human With a body that that would be Jesus because when God came, he shielded himself with the fire or the smoke would die in his presence, and that’s why he had the veil and everything in the temple, and traveled in the column of fire or the column of smoke. As far as the bread wine goes, it’s hard to say, because as you’re reading through the Bible all over the place, every time they traveled, they took bread and a wine skin, and that was kind of your standard travel food I guess but bread and wine are used symbolically all over so it’s kind of hard to tell on this one unless he expanded on it in their conversations or what they were doing once they got there?

The kings of that day were ruthless men. Being captured by one of them meant slavery, torture, even death. What Abraham did in rescuing Lot was to restore freedom and life.
What the king of Sodom tried to do was create an unrighteousness covenant with Abram that would engratiate Abram, making him subservient to the king of Sodom. It was not a blessing but a curse in disguise.
What the king of Salem did is bring a true blessing with no strings attached. He recognized Abram as being a righteous man who strove to bring blessing and life to others and he rewarded it.
If Melchizedech was just a random king, maybe he had something to do with Yah choosing Jerusalem over every other city. It is certain that Melchizedech was blessed by Yah because Yah promised to bless those that bless Abram.
If destruction of Sodom is an example of God's cursing a nation that tried to curse Abram I will choose Jerusalem.

Melchizedek is Jesus. He brings bread and wine to Abram. He broke bread with Abram first before the Disciples and last meal. Also now you know that Jesus is Melchizedek and is the High priest of his own order that is separate from the Levites/Aaronites. The Zadokite priests are of Melchizedek which get renamed the Essene who were waiting for Jesus. They filled the Qumran caves, had Dead Sea Scrolls. Ethiopian Book of Enoch, copies of the New and Old Testaments written in Aramaic etc.The 144, 000 will be priests of His order! Jesus cried when he said this:

Jesus knew these days would come when man would look to him as God instead of his Father, who is the only true God (John 17:3). Jesus always leads us to his Father, never to himself. Jesus and the Father are one in agreement in all things, meaning we are to hear Jesus' words from God the Father and serve him only. It is only by Jesus' words that we can come to the Father (John 14:6). Any who reject this are rejecting God; as it is written, for many are called but _few_ are chosen (Matthew 22:14).
