Thank you so much. The repairman quoted me $600 to fix this same problem, and I had decided I would just buy a new stove for that price. With your help, I was able to fix it for $90. It was awesome to save the money, but also empowering to discover I could do it myself!!

This should be a recall and SAMSUNG should repair it for free. Mine does the same thing!

The video is really helpful. Replacing the part helped me save a lot of money. I was out of warranty and didn’t wanted to buy a new stove. Thanks for sharing the video. It’s really helpful. I have a Samsung stove. Though my part number was different.

Good video. I’d like to add that you should turn off the circuit breaker before unplugging the oven. I learned this the hard way. Also, the replacement part came with a completely different set of connections, so I had to translate it so take multiple photos from different angles as some wires might cover up the view of another. There’s also two of these on my oven so got to buy another.

Same issue on both double burners. Fixed left one by removing connectors and applying contact cleaner. Then the right burner started acting up and the cleaning fix didn't work. This started with a five-year old range, which says a lot about Samsung ranges. The parts aren't cheap either.

Thanks. Same thing for the right side replacement. I need to tape one of the missing wire connection (at the left bottom corner) for the OEM part. Works well :)

Thank you for the info.
For some people it may be better to just replace one wire at a time after you screw the new switch into place . Sometimes you get a bad angle when taking a photo and a couple wires are not seen .
