Thanks for the roundup! As a Canadian, I've long been envious of the range of options you Americans have in petite sizes, and the availability of free shipping / free return options that just don't really exist here. For me personally, I buy most of my jeans at a local store that offers them at wholesale prices and does onsite free hemming. They don't have petites, but most styles can be cut down decently. I also occasionally buy from Old Navy / GAP / Banana Republic, which sells petites online and actually has free shipping & free returns for Canadians. Other than that, most of the brands you mentioned simply aren't available here, so I just love to be jealous!

Thanks for doing this video, I am always on the lookout for great petite jeans and pants. I have quite a few Kut from the Kloth and American Eagle jeans as you are right, they have great lengths for petites. Another brand I discovered through Stitch Fix is Liverpool. I'm 5'3 and I've gotten some great lengths in Liverpool, both jeans and trousers, skinny and straight. They are great quality and so comfortable. I will definitely be checking out Just Black.

Great video. I'm also 5'1 and it is getting harder to find petite sizes. Thanks for the info!

I looked up the brands and I am in awe. If I ever make it to the US again, I want to see if I find some. In the meantime I got one of my favourite pair of jeans from chuu (a korean brand) and one was in my style box last month. Finding a great fitting jeans is so hard. Took me a while to find out that low rise jeans don't fit me at all, since I have a long rise. And yes, thrift stores are awesome since they carry all kind of styles.

My height and weight is exactly the same yours but we have different body types. I have more middle weight and my rear :) I'm a rectangle shape completely. I have very thin legs. Here are my current favorites. Skinny - Old Navy Rockstar High Rise 6P (like a glove!), Good American Good Legs (only a few actually fit my rectangle frame) & Daze Denim Skinny Jeans (relatively unknown brand that I love). Slim fit (between skinny and straight leg) is Paige Cindy, Rag & Bone 10" Dre Jeans, Joe's Slim Leg Ankle Jeans --mostly the Lara but I found a pair of high waisted at Nordstrom Rack last year I love and the best are Denim Forum Yoko by Aritzia (best fitting and flattering jeans). Straight leg is Frame X The Jeans Restoration pair which are amazing on me. Boot Leg is Kut from the Kloth Natalie in 6P or Democracy in petite. Wide leg is Vigoss Dylan Jeans or Democracy. Boyfriend is Rag & Bone Dre Low Rise Slim Boyfriend, Joe's Jeans The Scout. I struggle with stretch. Because my weight is in my middle I find jeans with too much stretch will stretch out too much. The brands and styles I absolutely stay away from due to stretch way too much are the Kut from the Kloth Connie and Diana Fab Ab, Old Navy OG Straight, Good American Good Waist and Weekender anything other than Good Legs models, ANY Liverpool jean is a disaster on me (I feel like I'm wearing a diaper as they start to bag and stretch in the upper thigh and lower butt area), almost all American Eagle Jeans stretch too much and eventually I spend all my time holding them up. I also have tried and do not love Agolde - too much material in crotch for me. Also Citizens of Humanity (the parent co of Agolde) is also too much material in crotch. And finally - Levi's. I grew up wearing them but the 501's sag and bulk out around that crotch/rear area making them so unattractive. I can wear the 501 Skinny original jeans but they don't look very good. Also don't let the prices fool you - I get most of my pricier brands like Rag & Bone, Joe's, etc on sale at Nordstrom or Bloomingdales or at outlet stores like the Rack. Or consignment. Generally my thrift prices up anything in remotely decent shape just too high but check buy/sell/trade or consignment in your area. I prefer higher quality and long lasting. And because they don't stretch out (mostly) my designer pricier one's only need washing every 5 or 6 wears. That's my thoughts. Thank you for sharing so much - GREAT TOPIC!

Ive found great jeans from the Sofia Vergara line at walmart. Pretty affordable, and good fit at 5'1".
