Wayanad Landslide | Kerala Ex Minister On Claims State Given Landslide Warning

While talking to NDTV about Union Home Minister Amit Shah's claim of warning the Kerala government about the landslides, former Kerala minister MA Baby said, "Home Minister Shah should not have misled the houses of parliament." He said the state government didn't receive any warning from central agencies before or during the landslides.

First of all, IMD always give warnings during rain or cyclone but they can't say that a particular hill is going to collapse and cause landslide. Even if the warning included the landslide areas it's only tentative not a full scale evacuation. So can't blame state govt or Central govt in such cases. But it is advisable for people to not live near rivers or valleys.
