I really enjoy our videos and I like that you're happy with the results but I must say after using other brands, this is a great video showing not to use Great Stuff. there are better and less expensive products out there.

Did my shed 2 years ago. None of these "wide spray" tips were a thing then. The North & East side of it are shaded by 2 huge trees, so the sw facing wall got cooked in the sun. Plastic shopping bags and anything plastic in there would get so hot they would crumble like paper. Walmart had a sale on GE spray foam for $3 a can, ~35 or so cans later I was able to get about 1.5" coverage on the wall. Temps went from 145 to 105 in afternoon sun during summer. I rigged up my air compressor to a ball inflator needle, inserted in the spray foam straw and used it to blast the foam onto the wall.

Seems like you’re pushing the application of that wide spray. Its air sealant, not insulation. Really appreciate the video since this is so new! Have you thought about cut and cobbling? Like Cutting rigid foam board to take up the most of the middle section and then spraying around the edges to lock it in place and air seal the edges? Probably would have been cheaper and would have more r value

It would be nice if just once these shed insulating videos would measure temps for a few weeks before and after insulating to compare differentials.

You could use the spray foam as an adhesive and stick foam board to it

Are you shaking those up? And are they warm?

I wonder if you could buy the regular spray foam for 3 dollars a can and buy can of the wide spray and just keep reusing the spray nozzle?

I found another brand with 8 cans and a nice spray gun and cleaner on amazon for 139.00

did you do the underside of the roof? that would be the most important if its not already insulated

It should be a crime that those are that expensive. $40 for two cans? A can of the regular stuff is $3.50 at home depot. At first I thought it was a great product that allows you to easily DIY spray foam insulate, but not at that price. I imagine it would be thousands if you wanted to do your entire attic.
