Sandro Ivo Bartoli plays Domenico Scarlatti's Sonata in f minor K. 519.
Sandro says:
"Good day dear friends!
In 1710 Irish composer Thomas Roseingrave was in Venice, Italy, where he first heard Domenico Scarlatti play the harpsichord. He was stunned, and had the impression that 'ten hundred devils' had been at the keyboard! Unfortunately, what Scarlatti actually played on that occasion is a secret lost in the mists of time. However, among his 555 Sonatas there are several which recall atmospheres of infernal whirls, witches' sabbaths and Luciferine invention. One of these if the Sonata in f minor K. 519 which we present here. Happy listening!

Sandro,
Given all that is going on in the world, your series of sonatas could not be more welcome. It's always wonderful to hear you play. Millie Grazie (hope I spelled it right). Tom
