Ep. 1 · The Beauty of the Calm · Road Trip to Northern Sweden

Показать описание
This is the first Vlog of my SWEDEN SERIES, but also my first real vlog apart from my hiking videos on this channel. I want to make this a thing and share my adventures but also the mundane little everyday challenges we face during our travels, and who knows, maybe also when we are back in Germany, if you guys like these kinds of videos.
A Road Trip to Northern Sweden · This is my first Sweden vlog, yesss!
We started our travels in Munich, continued to Hannover, where we stayed for one night, then stayed with friends in Skåne, as well as on a camp ground. After those three nights we tried to find a stugby (village of little cabins), because I was super tired and also it was that sh_tty time of the month, so I really wanted to take a shower.
Överhörnäs: Camping in the Beautiful Nature of Sweden
By googling long and hard, we found this place in Överhörnäs, which was both cheap and beautiful. It was our first stay at the coast (Baltic Sea/Gulf of Bothnia), and oh, was it a beautiful first impression and a much needed break. Waking up on the calm camp ground to nothing but the noise of the waves. That was really nice. I could not capture that in the video.
Hope you like the "calming vlog" style :-)
Since I am new to this kind of vlogging and filmmaking, if you want to call it that, I am still learning. So follow me along, if you want to see more videos. I will try to show you as much of the beautiful Swedish scenery as possible, to be able to show you the beauty of the calm that we found on this trip (and hopefully in many other places in the future as well).
The next vlogs will include coastal cities of Sweden like Piteå, Luleå, Gammelstad and also Stockholm and Uppsala. And in between, I will share the whole Fjällräven Classic hike, which is actually the reason why we are driving all the way up there (plane was too expensive lol... also, I needed my car for the 2-month-stay afterwards).
